The Sheffield Ladies Evening League held it’s annual end of season dinner at Sickleholme last week. We had total of 52 at the meal including the Lady Captain and 11 of the 12 ladies who had played for Sickleholme.  

This is a league of 6 local clubs - Hallamshire, Abbeydale, Hallowes, Lees Hall, Dore & Totley and Sickleholme. It is a very relaxed competition, where a team of 5 play a 9 hole match in an evening against each club during the summer months. Anyone with a handicap can play, but priority is given to working ladies who can’t play in the other teams during the day. This year we came 5th, with Hallamshire winning - we all had great fun playing! 

Early next year an email will be sent to all ladies members so anyone wanting to play can express an interest.
