Oliver played in the Sheffield Plate at Hallamshire, one of the most prestigious events on the SUGC calendar after a good first round 73 he backed it up with an amazing 67 to finish 140 (2 under) and tied for the lead.

Having to go into a sudden death final for the title Oliver unfortunalty lost in a play-off to Luke Palmowski of Hickleton.

Despite loosing in the Play Off, this is a great achievement from Oliver and the club sends its congratulations to him..
